2022-2023 Deaf Expressions Scholarships
The 2022-2023 Deaf Expressions Scholarships program is now closed.
Cash prizes for schools to give to winners of student contests.Twice each year the fund gives grants of fifty dollars to selected schools or school districts to use as prize money for poetry writing contests. One fifty-dollar prize is for the best three line poem;
the other fifty-dollar prize goes to the writer of the best four line poem. The poems are judged by the teachers of the school with some input from us. There are simple guidelines for the poems
and volunteer coaches are available for students requiring help turning their expressions into written form. Awards limited to school or school districts with school programs for Deaf.
Grants for other purposes can be awarded to schools that serve Deaf students
